Wow! It's May already...and one week into it at that! Where does the time go? Well, we have been busy and we did have a fun Easter. Neil went to Newfoundland for Easter to celebrate his dad's 90th birthday! The whole family was there, so they had a great time. Pat was sure surprised and happy to see everyone together.We went to Donna's for Easter. What great weather. Ella got to wear the dress she bought in China. She was very happy about that. Isaac just loved looking for Easter eggs. He did manage to get quite a few even though Ella had the advantage of knowing what was going on. This was his third hunt of the weekend, and he does love chocolate, so he caught on pretty quickly.
Everyone's doing great. Our basement renos are done!!! Just a few finishing touches...if we ever find the time. Isaac loves the new TV. He wakes up asking to watch Treehouse...on the big TV. It's amazing how this happens. We get a big TV and all of a sudden he loves it. He didn't really care for it before. Maybe because we had such a crappy TV...purple on one side and green on the other.
I know it's hard to believe, but Isaac will start junior kindergarten in September! He is excited about it...going to Jia Jia's school. We have welcome to kindergarten in a couple of weeks. He still has that nasty cough, so he hasn't gotten the tubes in his ears yet. He has another appointment for his eyes at Sick Kids next week. We're still waiting for Speech Therapy, but his English is developing in leaps and bounds. Although I'm one of the only ones who understands most things he says, he really is improving.
That's it for the update. As you can see, Isaac's high-light of Easter wasn't the eggs, but that tractor ride with uncle Mike. He just loved it and waved to us as if on parade. Ella enjoyed it as well.
